HOOVER, Ala. -- No. 1 LSU dominated No. 5 Arkansas, 10-5, in Game 12 of the SEC Baseball Tournament.

Alex Bregman led the Tigers with three RBIs in one at-bat and three stolen bases. LSU pitcher Austin Bain took the win and improves to 3-2 on the season.

"We just wanted to come out fast and be aggressive on the plates as well," Bregman said. "I think we did a good job running and putting pressure on their guys. If we keep doing that, we'll be very successful."

LSU came out of the gate in the first inning to jump ahead of the Razorbacks, 4-0 and despite a four-run second inning for Arkansas, LSU never let go of the lead. The Tigers scored off of two Arkansas throwing errors, a wild pitch and finally on a Chris Chinea single, allowing Andrew Stevenson to get the fourth run in.

The Tigers came back in the top of the second with two more runs - one on a Mark Laird double to right field and another by an Alex Bregman single to center field.

The Razorbacks answered in the second inning on Michael Bernal's single to left, allowing Rick Nomura to get them on the scoreboard. Clark Eagan singled to right two batters later as Bobby Wernes ran in the Razorbacks' second run of the night. To close out the comeback inning, Bernal scored on a wild pitch by Austin Bain, then Eagan scored on a Joe Serrano single to left field.

LSU scored two runs in the fourth inning to increase its lead to four, first on a Fraley single and another on a Bregman sac fly to centerfield. The Tigers scored two more in the seventh inning on a Bregman sac fly and a Stevenson single. Arkansas answered with a single run in the bottom of the seventh.

With the win, LSU has won 11 of its last 12 meetings with Arkansas and improves to 48-9 on the season. Arkansas falls to 35-21.

Arkansas faces No. 4 Florida in an elimination game following Game 13, which begins at 3:00 p.m., CT, Friday. LSU advances with a Friday bye to face the winner of Florida vs. Arkansas after the conclusion of Game 15, which begins at noon CT, Saturday on SEC Network.

"Coach puts a lot of pressure on us at practice, so when we get into (stressful) situations in games, we're ready for them," Bregman said. "If we just keep performing well under pressure and keep getting clutch hits and making clutch pitches, we'll continue being successful."
