COLUMBIA, MO - No. 13 South Carolina women's soccer (9-1-4, 3-0-3) heads back home with a 1-1 draw against Missouri (5-5-3, 1-4-1) after facing the Tigers Sunday afternoon. Despite the draw, the Gamecocks remain undefeated in conference play so far this season.

The first half started quick with South Carolina taking their first corner of the game in the fourth minute, coming just short of an opportunity. The first shot of the game came from senior Brianna Behm, followed by another chance by Micah Bryant less than 30 seconds later. The latter shot was on target but ultimately saved by Tigers' keeper Bella Hollenbach. The Gamecocks made one more attempt throughout the remainder of the first half, but it was the defense that came out on top after fifth-year keeper Heather Hinz made two saves on Missouri's four shots in the first 45.

South Carolina turned things up in the second half, with a shot coming from senior Corinna Zullo just two minutes into being back on the field. The attempt was in range but met by another save. The Gamecocks and Tigers were locked in a defensive battle for the next 30 minutes until Zullo capitalized on a deflected ball inside the six, passing it right through a Missouri defender's legs to put South Carolina on top 1-0 in the 63rd minute. The goal was Zullo's second of the season and 14th of her career.

The Gamecocks didn't hold back on offense, putting up four more shots and taking a corner, until Missouri's Scarlett Thomas found the equalizer in the 76th minute after taking advantage of Hinz coming outside of the box.

South Carolina took three more corners to the Tigers' one in the final 15 minutes, but neither side came out with the game-winner. The Gamecocks finished even with Missouri in shots (12) and corners (6). Hinz tallied three saves.

South Carolina will return home to Stone Stadium to take on Ole Miss on Friday, Oct. 13 at 7:00 p.m.
